Starting my re-read and reminded, again, why I mostly enjoyed these books very much.
This French video (English subtitles) shows one man’s day in a world where the sexes are “flipped.” People tend to have mixed feelings about reverse oppression narratives, but remember that these types of projects exist to provide a gateway for people who would otherwise never think about these things, or who perhaps refuse to think about them. If a video like this is what punctures that membrane, then they can learn about why such narratives are problematic later—but putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, even in the most elementary way, is often the first step to true understanding.
