Provided you aren’t nyctophobic, claustrophobic, acrophobic or simply can’t stand caves, it’s time to pack a bag and join us for another Geyser of Awesome Field Trip. This time we’re headed for Wales, specifically an abandoned slate mine in Blaenau Ffestiniog, a mining town in North Wales. There we’ll be climbing, bouncing, jumping and sliding to our hearts’ content on an awesome network of huge trampolines and slides called Bounce Below.
"The tourist attraction features three giant trampolines suspended across the cave, ranging from 20 feet to 180 feet high. Ten foot net walls prevent people from climbing out, while walkways connect the trampolines, and slides offer an easy way to exit. As visitors jump around, the walls of the surrounding cavern are illuminated with glowing blue, green, pink, and purple lights."
